Quick Facts

Program includes a 12-course, 37-credit hour Colorado state accredited degree completed on a part-time basis over a three-year period.

Given that program participants are practicing teachers, one course is completed during the Spring and Fall terms each, and two courses each summer.

Degree program provides practicing educators with equitable skill sets necessary to effectively teach a variety of diverse learners including students:

(a) acquiring English as an additional language receiving special education

(b) who are at-risk in today’s schools and classrooms

Courses are taught by faculty with experiences specific to supporting
unique urban and rural education learning qualities. 

When delivered online, the CU Boulder Double Endorsement MA Degree Program has been designed to maximize learner experiences with both synchronous and asynchronous tasks supported by application of acquired knowledge and skills through required course field work and related benchmark assignments.

Each course is instructor facilitated with virtual office hours, periodic whole group online class sessions, as well as student-student virtual interactive learning experiences.
